Emmie
Emmie (Hemethea) was once a Greek princess who was turned into a minor goddess who then became a Hunter of Artemis and then gave up immortality to grow old with the love of her life, Jo. (Try explaining all that on a job resume!) She now runs the Waystation in Indianapolis with a combination of…
Jo
Jo (Josephine) is a former Hunter of Artemis, a child of Hecate and a master at constructing magical gadgets. With her wife Emmie and their daughter Georgina, she runs the Waystation, a sanctuary for demigods in Indianapolis. Jo is a sweetheart, but don’t threaten her family or you might meet her Celestial bronze Tommy gun,…
Rhea
The Titan queen, mother of the oldest Olympian gods, Rhea is also Apollo’s grandmother and the original patroness of the Grove of Dodona. She is a way groovy mama who is all about harmony and love, unless that doesn’t work out, in which case her pet lions will shred you. Peace, man!
The Germani
Bodyguards for the Roman emperors, these fine fellows come from the Gaulish and Germanic tribes outside the empire. They speak very little, but they are great at killing, maiming, and making a hole in crowds. If you ever play chess against these guys, one rule: “Let the Germani win.”
Nero
Evil emperor number one, come on down! Nero, one of the Triumvirate, enjoys wearing purple suits, twisting the minds of young demigods, and building gigantic McMansions by bulldozing over human civilization. An all-around nice guy!
Paolo
Son of Hebe, Paolo hails from Brazil. He is known for his dashing good looks, his general friendliness, and his tendency to lose his limbs during combat, but don’t worry! Hebe’s children are incredibly hearty, and the Apollo cabin has some good healers.
Austin Lake
Child of Apollo, finest saxophone player of his generation, Austin Lake has a massive YouTube following for his blistering jazz improv solos. He can play just about any musical instrument, and is pretty good at hobbling along in the three-legged death race, too, so DON’T TEST HIM!
Harley
Harley is the youngest, and possibly most enthusiastic member of the Hephaestus cabin. He loves three-legged death races, cool gadgets that explode, and sour candy, not necessarily in that order. He may look adorable, but don’t try to arm-wrestle this kid!
Kayla Knowles
Daughter of Apollo and the Canadian archery instructor Darren Knowles, Kayla is one of the year-round campers at Camp Half-Blood, where she teaches archery classes and hopes to one day compete in the Olympics. She is a veteran of the Battle of Manhattan.
